It is mainly through collecting data, observations and meetings with project/workshop team members to clarify any doubts or uncertainties.
Decisions will generally require the ideas and advice of others and are made only within authorized boundaries, with assistance from CI Manager and CI Experts.GENERAL FUNCTIONS Support local plant CI Manager or leader in planning and deployment of FIT Program.In direct cooperation with plant CI Manager and CI Experts - regarding deployment, structures, trainings and implementation of FIT Program pillars and its elements.Involved in organizing local LSS training sessions.Support local CI leader and CI Experts with FIT Program reviews and reporting (if needed).Support CI leaders in organizing local CI Steering Committees (if needed).Perform audits, observations and taking measures of processes and products – needed for further analysis and consideration in projects and workshops.Promote FIT Program and its aspects within the local organization.Provide basic analysis of FIT elements, but also process/product data.Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices.
Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.
(*) The duties described are only the most typical of this position and are in no way a comprehensive list.Technical Lean Six Sigma Requirements (as Yellow Belt): The role of the Continuous Improvement Technician is to support the local CI department in delivering the agreed on benefits of a Lean Six Sigma and FIT Program to the organization.
In so doing, the Continuous Improvement Technician will:Collect data for further analysis in projects, workshops and other CI activities.Lead or facilitate Yellow Belt Projects using Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC methodologies.Run FIT Program and CI awareness training sessions for local employees.Participate in all tollgate reviews for the projects they support or lead directly.Understand basic statistics and DMAIC principles.Use and support others with knowledge of basic Lean techniques (5s audits, waste identification, line balancing, etc.
