Position focus: Directs and has overall oversight responsibility for plant continuous improvement efforts, including but not limited to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Cost Reduction. Leads the plant's cost reduction and profit improvement efforts and implements plans to achieve these goals. Achieve best-in-class operational performance in terms of efficiency, startup performance and employee engagement. Promote a culture of continuous improvement at all levels. Responsibilities: Achieve the overall planned performance of the plant Drive, achieve, support and foster a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizens Engage all levels of the plant in raising the bar for operational excellence Maintain and update plant best practices Support kaizen improvements in safety, ergonomics and environment Support/mentor/coach the use, application and understanding of LSS tools at various levels within the plant Promote synergies between the plant and Lear Europe. Support of the central team in specific projects Promote Lean Six Sigma thinking in the organization Identify players who want to be part of the CI community Responsible for implementing company policies and procedures within functional area of expertise Requirements: 3+ years of relevant experience Ability to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
