Job DescriptionThe Continuous Improvement Lead is essential for driving change and advancement across all organizational functions and operational airlines. This role emphasizes process analysis, a critical component of automation, to enhance Lean capabilities. By optimizing value stream processes through waste elimination, reducing non-value-added activities, and promoting simplification, standardization, automation, and digitalization, the Continuous Improvement Lead ensures efficient operations.
Additionally, this role involves mentoring/coaching Green Belts and juniors within the team and outside, facilitating kaizen events, conducting value stream mapping exercises, and ensuring best practices are shared throughout the organization.
Accountabilities:Lead high complex cross functional cross regional Process Improvement projects as well initiatives.Data Analysis and Solution ImplementationCollect and Analyze Data to Identify Root Causes of Inefficiencies; Implement Sustainable Solutions to Enhance Quality and Productivity on Time and Within Budget.Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to eliminate waste, improve process efficiency, and enhance product/service quality.Collaborate with the automation team to integrate technology solutions into process improvement initiatives.Change ManagementImplement Change Management Strategies to Ensure Smooth Adoption of Process Improvements; Manage Resistance and Facilitate the Acceptance of New Processes Across the Organization.Leadership and Team ManagementProvide Leadership and Guidance to Project Teams, Ensuring Effective Collaboration and High Performance; Mentor Green Belts and Other Team Members, Fostering Their Development in Lean Six Sigma Methodologies.Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.Work effectively with diverse teams across different cultural backgrounds.Standardization and DocumentationEnsure that all process improvements are documented, standardized, and maintained over time.Passion for ImprovementDemonstrate a strong passion and sense of urgency for executing performance improvement projects.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceMaster's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.Minimum a Master's degree and 5-7 years of working experience in similar position or in project management in/working on process improvement/six sigma/lean initiatives.Technical ExpertiseExpert knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools (e.g., DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis). Having Lean Six Sigma Green Belt will be an asset.Proven track of successfully implemented business process improvement in SSC/Operations/Procurement/Finance functions in a complex, global, matrix organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.Leadership and CommunicationExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.Experience in facilitating workshops and coaching/mentoring.Change ManagementChange management skills are of the utmost importance.
