Content Quality Analyst in BARCELONA, SpainJob Description: Content Quality Analyst We are looking for a Quality Analyst to join our Content Quality team.
The Content Quality team is responsible for maintaining and overseeing the quality standards of Factiva content tagging and the company data within the product. The team works closely with Product, Engineering, Autocoding and other stakeholder teams to ensure policy and standards adherence and provide feedback and guidance on post-production quality of content and data.
As a Content Quality Analyst, you will contribute to the accuracy of our content and data through content tagging and company data monitoring, systems monitoring and analysis. Your role will involve the identification of potential data anomalies and provision of feedback and follow-up.
You will report to the Manager, Content Quality.
You Will: Create and monitor content samples to assess the accuracy of our automated content tagging systems.Monitor the overall accuracy and completeness of company and executive data.Monitor systems performance to check that data from external providers arrives and is successfully loaded into the production environment.Perform ad hoc data extractions and mappings using SQL Server Management Studio.Perform statistical and root cause analyses to support decision-making and implement effective improvement strategies.Contribute to pre- and post-production quality testing of new product features, data management solutions and content sets as required.Respond to customer and internal stakeholder queries pertaining to content and company data by researching, taking corrective action and escalating where appropriate.Participate in cross-team content and data projects as needed.Analyze tagging metrics in order to detect trends, anomalies and priorities in order to ensure relevant article retrieval for our subscribers.Manage communication with technical teams and third-party data providers.Design and conduct training sessions and presentations on quality policies and best practices as needed.You Have: Fluency in written and spoken English.Knowledge of SQL and experience querying SQL databases.Boolean search knowledge.Research and analytical skills.Proficiency in G-suite and Microsoft Office tools.An openness to different views and opinions and appreciation of team diversity.Preferred: Background in linguistics, languages or knowledge of several languages.Knowledge of any querying and/or scripting languages, such as Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, BigQuery, Google AppScript.Experience in text analysis, corpus linguistics, automated annotation or data analysis.Knowledge of Dow Jones Intelligent Identifiers and/or Familiarity with Dow Jones Professional Information Business (PIB) suite of products, including Factiva, Newswires and Risk and Compliance.Reasonable accommodation: Dow Jones, Making Careers Newsworthy - We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
