Your New Role… This is a dual strategic and operational role that offers support to the content planning and production and development planning of the WBD unscripted content pipeline to drive growth across the EMEA region on all media and platforms. Working closely with both the Director of Content Planning & Director International Content, the role is responsible for ensuring all programming information and tracking systems are up-to-date.
This position will have specific responsibility for ensuring local teams across all platforms (Streaming, linear networks FTA & Pay) understand the key content priorities, the respective windowing & release strategies, and the rights position.
Overall, this role will be best placed to offer a holistic view of the local EMEA content release plans & strategy and the production and development pipeline as well as capturing and sharing the wider global view of best practices and learnings that can help drive growth to our streaming and linear businesses.

Your Role Accountabilities… Own and maintain all the International forward plan priority content tracking documents in order to regularly cascade to all Content Planning teams in EMEA. Includes rights overview and windowing to ensure correct exploitation.Track all key programming stunts, performance and best practice learnings across linear Pay & FTA channels and report regularly to content planning teams in EMEA.Own and maintain Collections Playbook for distribution globally, regularly updating with your ideas and recording best ideas from across Discovery.Develop relationships with each local planning team to keep across the monthly schedule release plans to track local launches and mandatory holdbacks.Point of contact for Content Ops, PMD, BLA and Planning teams for queries relating to international content share titles.Along with the Director, be the EMEA representative in U.S. calls and EMEA Meetings to both feedback on central strategies and capture new information & learnings to cascade back to wider team.Regularly present, including at internal summits and workshops, all highlights from the internal pipeline (International Content Share and Multi-Local offering) to local EMEA content planning teams, offering guidance for an effective programming strategy.Under supervision of Director, International Content, maintain a tracker to monitor all projects that receive multi-local development funding.Support Director, International Content in creation of Production & Development Council decks & presentations and presenting at these Councils to Content Heads as required.Create co-production & pre-sale opportunity documents aimed at the Ad Sales & US teams.Qualifications & Experience… Demonstrate editorial judgment and understanding of the WBD network brands and content.Strong communication skills and a passion for content.Experience in VOD publishing or Programming.Have a full understanding of programming rights, windowing & release strategies.Intermediate to advanced level Excel and PowerPoint skillsHow We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important!
