The Content Creator will be responsible for developing social content.
This role provides a huge opportunity to create content for brands that truly have an impact. As a social-first creative, you'll need to craft ideas that demonstrate cultural relevance and will be responsible for the daily management of the local community and moderation of our brand's social channels, ensuring that our content resonates with local audiences and meets their needs.
Responsibilities:This role is part of the comprehensive team that makes sure the content that .Monks creates for its partner clients is always on point in terms of Social Media best practices.You will manage the day-to-day handling of social media content across channels including (but not exclusively) TikTok, X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, adapting content to suit different channels.Ensure daily local community management and moderation of our brand's social channels (principal but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X) from Monday to Friday, 9-6 p.m. according to local time. Flexibility towards shifting working hours will also be considered as a need for this role.Spot social media content opportunities within wider creative ideas or campaigns.Develop editorial calendars and align with the wider content team.Create and publish engaging content.Own a deep understanding of community building so as to think of content plans based on clear objectives.Ability to write creative copy with the objective of fostering interactions on social channels.Grammar and Spelling excellence in English is a must deliverable, therefore you will need to be either a language nerd or to know your toolbox well enough as to never miss in that area.Your day will be spent mainly creating content, this can mean briefing an audiovisual editor with an idea of your own or creating it by yourself on-the-go with a smartphone and native apps. You will also be required to join creative teams to think and brainstorm in pitches for new clients or always on campaigns for existing ones.A love for tidiness will be highly appreciated, as we work in a fast-paced environment that accepts as little friction as possible.Reaction time is key for them as real-time content will play a key role.This person is humble enough to accept feedback from creative directors but also team members.This person is in the know of all formats (old and new) and is able to elaborate a POV re: what works best across social channels.Knowledgeable in live coverage and support with amplification of real-life events either in person or remote.About YouIdeally, you have experience both as a CM for at least 3 years and as a Content Creator for a few years as well; or you have experience developing social content for brands or personal projects.You have worked for a varied set of brands, preferably flexing across industries, which gives you a wide POV of the engaging role of brands on social media.You have a keen eye and infinite curiosity on emerging social trends across platforms.You have worked with content creation tools and apps to craft assets yourself and are able to train beginners on them, if needed.You are either familiar with Sprinklr or are happy to learn how to use it (it's very intuitive!)You are already familiar with AI tools or are eager to learn (we are definitely on that boat!)At .Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
