The Role Lumen is seeking a skilled Linux CLI user with a passion for troubleshooting and debugging. Experience using OpenWRT is a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience writing and debugging shell scripts, familiarity with API tools and technologies such as REST, Postman, and cURL, and a keen interest in home networking and WiFi.
The Main Responsibilities Work in an Agile environment Identify and engineer methods to detect common customer problems in OpenWRT firmware for various consumer devices Write and optimize shell scripts and REST APIs to automate system tasks Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenWRT systems Collaborate with the development team to enhance system functionality What We Look For in a Candidate English proficiency (C1/C2) Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or the equivalent in training and experience Proficiency in Linux CLI environment 4+ years of scripting language development experience (BASH or similar) Excellent experience in network protocols, consumer home network challenges, and security best practices Experience using OpenWRT firmware a plus Requisition #: 335630
