Candidates who successfully join the firm will actively participate in a multitude of projects related to the financial sector and quantitative finance, focusing on actuarial, credit risk analysis as well as market risk, counterparty risk, liquidity risk, and ALM, as well as the resulting regulatory implications and operational processes and models. Additionally, they will collaborate with different areas of the firm (mainly Transactions, Audit, Data & Analytics) given the cross-functional nature of the financial consulting services that EY offers.Currently, we are looking to strengthen our practice by incorporating an Actuarial with at least 1 year of experience.As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.Your key responsibilitiesExecution of projects related to Solvency II:Review of economic balance and SCR/MCR calculationsPreparation of Projections for ORSASupport in reporting requirements (Pillar III)Actuarial functionDocumentation and process improvementExecution of actuarial consulting projects related to:Regulatory framework (IFRS 17, ROSSEAR/ROSSP)Life and non-life reservingValuation of pension commitmentsSkills and attributes for successInterested in InsuranceProblem-solving and troubleshooting with an eye for detailsGood communication and presentation skillsExcellent command of English (written and spoken)To qualify for the role, you must haveEducation in engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics, actuarial sciences, or other technical degrees with a strong quantitative specialization.Knowledge of Solvency II, especially in Pillar I and II.Knowledge of IFRS17 regulations.Non-Life Reserving.Life Modeling.Actuarial Audit.Knowledge of local regulations on technical provisions.Financial knowledge and asset valuation.Analysis and optimization of capital requirements under SII.Proficiency in Visual Basic, SQL, programming in R or Python.Ideally, you'll also haveKnowledge of CAT reinsurance and other alternative risk mitigation techniques.Knowledge of Actuarial Software (Prophet, Modelling, etc.).Knowledge of ESG applicable to the insurance industry.Participation in creating a good working environment
