Consultants in the M&A team work on a wide range of interesting projects including ESG management consultancy, advisory and due diligence covering decarbonisation, EHS, climate risk and social/human rights aspects.To support the successful delivery of our growth ambition, the team is looking to appoint two Consultants with a passion for sustainability and who will support with the delivery of EHS audits to a range of clients from the financial services (including private equity) and the corporate sector (o&g, pharmaceuticals, etc.).Our offices are in Madrid and Barcelona and we offer flexible working arrangements. The role will require frequent travel (mostly within the country) to the work site.Job Responsibilities:Environmental, health and safety (EHS) audits to support mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance audits, supply chain audit programs.Audits on environmental, social, governance (ESG) issues, to help companies and corporations identifying reputational risks and opportunities for sustainable development.Supporting project managers in requested activities such as research for information, writing reports, proposal preparation, etc.Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including proposalsAbout you:2 to 6 years of relevant experience in EHS (HSE) due diligence and experience or interest in developing experience in sustainability disciplines (ESG) as a consultant. (We are looking for two consultants at different level of seniority, hence the wider experience required)A Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or other relevant disciplines.A specialization in energy or civil engineering or experience in the sustainability/carbon sector would be considered a plus, but not a requirement.Working knowledge of English (C1) is required, knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus (preferred Portuguese).Good knowledge of Spanish Environmental and EHS legislation. Knowledge of the international EHS standards will be considered as an advantage.Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.Commitment to being responsive to our clients' needs and meeting transaction schedules
