.SaT Consultant (Strategy and Transactions department) – Technical position The opportunity As a member of our team in GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You will work hand in hand with the EY Spain teams on different projects in the ESG area (environment, social, and governance). Your key functions Participate in the realization of ESG Due Diligence (complete or partial such as environmental DD, H&S DD, supply chain DD, etc.) in transactions and strategic projects, considering the financial implications. Some activities include: Analysis of ESG regulatory compliance, policies, and procedures of a company or business based on authorizations, technical documentation, and accountability information. Identification and quantification of contingencies. Benchmarking ESG best practices (peers, clients, suppliers). Organization of workshops and/or interviews. Selection of actions and initiatives that create value in the operation. Elaborate the ESG DD reports. Participate in strategic projects on climate change, sustainable mobility, plastic strategy, circular economy, biodiversity, etc. Activities include: collecting and analyzing data; writing reports and technical documents with the available information. Research ESG practices in industries from different sectors, at European and global level, to suggest realistic and feasible protocols for best practices implementation. Support in the preparation of content for proposals and marketing materials. Collaborate with sustainability experts and global technical consultants from EY Group to deliver large projects and support the development of new service areas and innovative products for our customers. Skills and attributes for success Very good knowledge of MS-Office, including PowerPoint. Outstanding research, analytical, and conceptual skills. Very flexible, pragmatic, and resilient. Proactive, with a desire to learn and be involved. To qualify for the role, you must have Degree in industrial or civil engineering (other engineering with knowledge in industrial manufacturing processes can be valuable). Knowledge of technical (industrial) regulations: licenses and permits, industrial safety, REACH, CLP, SEVESO, etc. Knowledge of environmental regulations, as well as occupational health and safety regulations. Work experience of 0-3 years. Knowledge and interest in ESG. Fluent written and spoken business English at a high level - C1. Ideally, you'll also have Specific master's degree in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, or related. Knowledge of other languages (French, German, Portuguese, etc.).
