They sum up what we stand for, influence our culture, and drive how and why we do things.How you will create an impact:Be responsible for the core components of the model development process, from data wrangling, extraction and pre-processing in SQL or Python to Machine Learning model development, testing, and implementation.Conduct exploratory data analysis and communicate insights through clear descriptions and visualizations in Tableau or PowerBI.Conduct research on recent developments in Machine Learning and AI, with a focus on topics related to pricing, sales, and marketing.See the real-life impact of your solutions on the fast-changing market and help further develop Simon-Kucher's analytical offerings.Enable Simon-Kucher & Partners to become a thought-leader in the analytical applications for pricing, sales and marketing strategies due to your continued involvement and efforts.Your profile:Degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, engineering, statistics, operations research, data science, or equivalent experience.1-3 years experience in a data science role.You are fluent in English.Strong programming skills in Python.Strong database querying ability in SQL.Experience with pricing, demand forecasting, or time-series data.Experience with Machine Learning and statistical modelling techniques.Experience with data visualization software / libraries (Tableau, PowerBI).Advanced programming and data science skills a plus – for example deep learning, front end development, model deployment, and MLOps.Ability to work with a team containing non-technical members.Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to simply and concisely explain complex analytical topics.Entrepreneurial spirit—we are a fast-growing team with vast opportunities for growth
