We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Consultant in Capital Markets, with a strong interest or experience in the logistics Spanish market

What this job involves

Delivering core real estate services

You will report directly to the Head of Logistics Capital Markets and you will be based in Madrid JLL Headquarters and will be managing our mandates with investors from the entire risk spectrum. Working on both the buy and sell side you will be responsible with every step of the process, from devising an acquisition and/ or disposal strategy, to its underwriting and closing. You will also take part in client meetings and property tours and be exposed to international and domestic institutional investors, You will work with other Logistics and JLL Spain and Paneuropean team members to develop and execute new business opportunities.

You will be highly numerical and able to undertake detailed cash flow analysis of opportunities with minimal supervision.

Our client transaction process will be central to your role. This involves both buy and sell side activities from the sourcing and analysis of opportunities all the way through to their execution.

Promoting our services & developing our business

Working as part of a team, you will source new investment product for increasingly hungry domestic and global capital, and secure new mandates and clients. New business development is a vital part of the role: you will take part in existing and prospective client meetings and new business propositions.

Education and experience

A Degree in business, finance or real estate will be useful; a recent and extensive experience in real estate investment industry (4 to 6 years), with local as well as international/European focus is required. A very good working knowledge of English is essential.

Technical competencies

We'll expect you to have a solid understanding of main contractual documents supporting real estate development and investment; obviously financial skills are essential, as well as a strong market knowledge of the logistics Real Estate Sector and its main actors.

An analytical mind

An ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information – and transform this into strategic deliverables – is key.

A natural communicator

You are commercially minded with excellent communication skills and, of course, you'll be good at building team relationships and interacting effectively with business partners. A good understanding of multicultural surroundings will help you achieve your goals.
