The Technical Vendor Manager is responsible for managing the critical path schedule of Consultants, General Contractors (GC), and supply chain, with the objective of finding, securing, and gaining increased value from our vendors in D&C projects.
The individual will build and maintain relationships with the vendors and support in developing their capabilities to efficiently deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within the defined budget, looking for the establishment of partnerships and long-term relations.
Successful candidates will have a strong level of ownership, a bias for action, and be highly motivated individuals who have Project/Contracts Management experience within the construction industry.
The role will understand the details of Amazon buildings and will deep dive on key construction partners by working in close collaboration with consultants, General Contractors, and internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Pre-construction, and Construction.
You should be a passionate self-starter, decisive, and able to move with speed to implement ideas and have the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You should be highly analytical to interlink vendor metrics and compare those against defined targeted KPIs.
You should have proven experience in the construction industry and a track record of delivering results in fast-paced and dynamic business environments while managing the sometimes conflicting needs of different groups of stakeholders.
