.Job Location: Zaragoza Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud.
Within CO&I, the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business.
The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects.

The Data Center Development (DCD) Construction Superintendent MEP role will provide leadership of all field related Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) system mission critical activities and coordinate with DCD Construction Project Manager (CPM), Consultants, OFCI Vendors, General Contractors, Subcontractors and other project stakeholders for proper execution.
The MEP Construction Superintendent Is Ultimately Responsible For: the complete project delivery of the MEP scope for each site location, including commissioning.
ensuring that each project meets the Data Center Development (DCD) guidelines and standards, which may be adjusted from time-to-time based on best practices and Lesson Learned drawn from previous projects as well as industry changing best practice.

Responsibilities: Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Represent Microsoft as a safety leader and advocate on all construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.G., Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), or equivalent) to ensure compliance and aggressive management of risk.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment that prevents injury or ill health, aligning with MSFT global targets of Recordable Incident Rate (RIR) and Worst Potential Severity (WPS) rate.
Routine site walks with GC and Packaged Contractors Safety Team to establish and maintain a Safe Working Environment.
Perform and participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all MEP works are carried out to the highest quality standards and in compliance with project specifications and drawings.
Hold the GC, OFCI Vendors and Subcontractors accountable to Quality Control requirements as set forth and agreed upon in their Contract PEP
