Our global network of consultants mobilizes its expertise in partnership with its clients and offers pragmatic and scalable solutions for dynamic and optimized risk management, including specialized information systems, a mass of risk data, and expanded data analysis and data science capability.As a Risk Consultant, you will carry out technical risk analysis of construction risks and natural catastrophe events inherent in the construction of large projects for the underwriting and claims departments, together with external clients.
You will give advice to underwriters to enable them to better understand the risks they write and hence, reduce the frequency and likelihood of claims for AXA XL.Support to the Energy business is also considered for this role as a secondary activity; therefore, knowledge ofthe Energy Industry and experience in renewables, such as wind, solar, or nuclear energy, along with a working knowledge of fossil fuel power generation, or experience in an equivalent risk consulting position, is an added value.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?Perform desktop risk analysis for Underwriters, Claims handlers, and Clients.Conduct loss prevention audits on-site, including prospects, underwritten construction project visits, and site visits following a claim.Quantify risk exposures through MPL evaluation.Deliver survey Reports and Risk Grading: prepare loss prevention reports following a visit containing a detailed risk analysis.Provide on-demand technical assistance for customers.Perform account reviews on behalf of underwriting and attend Underwriting Committee meetings.Contribute to the development of internal technical procedures and standards, with the help of the AXA XL RC technical board.Participate in Underwriting tender bids.Collaborate with the Global Construction Risk Consulting Team.
Contribute to the training and continuous development of AXA XL Risk Consulting engineers.Offer and discuss innovative products with clients in conjunction with the Innovation and Business Development department.You will report to the Risk Consulting Country Manager, Iberia.SHARE your talentWe are looking for a new team member with the following skills:You have an engineering background with a degree and solid working experience in the construction domain (as a contractor, designer, loss adjuster, or external checker)
