Construction Project Director / Acciona USAOur ClientAcciona is looking for a Construction Project Manager with experience in managing large construction projects for a location in the USA.Your FunctionsThe Project Manager is the maximum responsible for management and development of works in all aspects: technical, economic, and pertaining to the relationship with the Employer.
This position will be responsible for providing guidance and oversight to the project in respect of project management personnel and methods, leading the development and execution of the project with direct responsibility for establishing and maintaining client relationships, and overseeing design teams, estimating teams, and commercial and financial management teams from tender through to project completion.FunctionsProviding leadership and guidance in negotiating partnerships and teaming arrangements, developing construction and design innovations, and executing commercial procurement strategies.Participate in planning the construction requirements of the Project and to deliver the Project on time and to budget.Ensuring project commercial and risk management systems, including health and safety, quality, accounting, payment, insurance, legal, and communication functions are implemented effectively and are compliant with corporate procedures.Ensuring compliance with all Federal, Provincial, and local laws (specific to Atlanta), particularly applicable Occupational Health, Safety Acts/Construction Safety Act regulations, and environmental requirements as they relate to the Project scope of work.Act as a principal point of contact and project representative for the contractor.Provide direction and support to operational/technical staff and subcontract partners.General planning for development of the contract.Coordination of all work lists with the diverse services of the departments.Informing the Department Chief about the course of works, economic and financial forecasts, as well as possible problems or difficulties that arise in the development of the same.Responsibility in the proper delivery and the PL of the project.Position RequisitesFormación: Ingeniero SuperiorConocimientos: Valorable ferrocarril, estaciones o túnelesExperiencia: 20 añosBachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
A master's degree or MBA may be preferred.20+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects, especially in commercial or infrastructure construction.Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) is often required or highly desirable, demonstrating expertise in project management methodologies.Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.High level in English and Spanish.
