Our client, US Cloud company, is seeking a Construction Manager (Data Center) to oversee a critical build from start to finish. WHY THIS ROLE? This is a unique opportunity to manage a large-scale project on behalf of a prestigious client. As the Construction Manager (Data Center), you'll have full oversight, ensuring that the project runs smoothly, stays on budget, and meets the highest standards of safety and quality. You'll represent our client on-site and play a pivotal role in bringing this project to life. Location: Zaragoza, Aragon, SpainDuration: 12 months + possible extensionContract type: LTDStart Date: ASAPSalary: open, depending on experienceNO visa sponsorship BBH: 25890 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Contract Management: Administer contracts with the general contractor, ensuring cost control and adherence to schedules and specifications. You'll enforce contracts to maintain the project timeline and minimise costs. Project Coordination: Work closely with general contractors, separate contractors, and site developers, ensuring seamless communication and preventing scheduling issues. Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly update our client on project progress, providing detailed reports on quality, budget, and timelines. Address any snagging, close-out tasks, and warranty issues promptly. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the general contractor complies with all health and safety regulations, keeping our client informed of any incidents or risks on site. Commissioning & Closeout: Oversee the testing and commissioning stages, ensuring all milestones are met and required documentation is completed for a smooth handover. WHO YOU ARE: Proven experience in construction management Strong MEPF experience Excellent communication and leadership skills in English BENEFICIAL: Ideally previous exposure to Data Centers or Oil/Gas Sub-station experience Familiarity with local building regulations and planning approvals is a plus Spanish speaking ideally.
