We are looking for a Configuration Management Engineer in support to the Systems Integration & Performance Group on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Barcelona, Spain.

Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:Support the Project Change Request (PCR) management processes:Assist in the management of PCRs impacting F4E, from their origination to their closure; Support the preparation of F4E Pre-Configuration Control Board (CCB), ITER CCB and related documentation; Support the review of PCR management processes and procedures.Support the F4E configuration management processes:Review, control and monitor PA Change Notices, Deviations, Direct Implementations, Project Change Requests (PCRs) and similar (change management); Input coordination to ensure a complete impact analysis and process follow-up of the change management mechanisms above; Implementation of monitoring tools to ensure exhaustive configuration control.Assist in the deployment and improvement of configuration management tools:Contribute to the improvement of the PCR management tool; Contribute to the implementation and use of other configuration management tools.Bachelor's degree in Engineering; At least three years of professional experience in systems engineering and/or configuration management; Solid knowledge of Excel;Experience in the development of standard operational procedures and policies is an asset; Experience in the development of databases is an asset; Experience in systems engineering for an international engineering or scientific project is an asset; Experience working in a multicultural environment is an asset; Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU; Good level of English.Please submit your application in English via the apply button below.
