The role As a Concept Artist Game Creator at Megamod Inc, you will be responsible for creating captivating visual designs and illustrations for their upcoming video game projects.
In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in shaping the artistic direction and visual identity of the games developed by this innovative company.
What you'll be doing Conceptualise and produce original character designs, environments, props, and other visual elements for video games.
Collaborate closely with the game development team to ensure the artistic vision aligns with the overall game design and narrative.
Explore and experiment with various digital painting and illustration techniques to bring your concepts to life.
Provide detailed sketches, reference materials, and final art assets to support the game development process.
Continually refine and iterate on your work based on feedback from the team.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and software to enhance your skills and artistic abilities.
What we're looking for A strong portfolio showcasing your talent in character design, environment art, and/or prop design for video games or similar interactive media.
Proficiency in digital painting, sketching, and illustration using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate.
Knowledge of the principles of design, colour theory, and composition.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
A passion for video games and a keen understanding of the creative and technical aspects of game development.
Familiarity with 3D modelling and animation software is a plus.
