You will be based in Madrid where you will support the growth of the activity in Spain.
You will be working closely with the 2 Senior Advisory Compliance team members and also be the support and backup for the Reporting analyst in London.
The position reports to the Global Head of Advisory Compliance.Main ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and preparation of regulatory reports in the UK, EU, and U.S.Query databases to extract the information needed to complete reports.Handling requests and ad hoc information requests related to regulatory reporting, especially REMIT.Develop and maintain cooperation with internal departments at both individual and group levels.Responsible for ensuring impeccable data quality on a daily basis.Monitoring and updating external registers/filings/exemptions necessary to continue trading and maintain license(s) to operate.Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; developing/implementingcorrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and providing general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.Assisting in the development and provision of Compliance training.Profile & Key SkillsAt least 2 years relevant working experience within a hedge fund, commodities, banking, or a regulatory agency.Familiar with EU regulations such as REMIT and MiFID.Team player but also able to work independently.Good communication skills to discuss with senior management, front office, business counterparts, and external parties.Confident, precise, hands-on mentality, and service-oriented.Strong computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.If you think the open position you see is right for you, we encourage you to apply!Our people make all the difference in our success.#J-18808-Ljbffr
