.About the Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Reward, we are looking for a talented Compensation and Benefits Manager to build upon our total rewards initiatives, helping shape how we reward our people at N26 as we enter the next phase of business growth. You will be responsible for the conception, implementation and management of compensation strategies that take into account both employee needs and support company goals. You will thoroughly understand and execute the compliance and regulatory landscape that governs variable remuneration and be comfortable to interact with our Legal and Tax Team on implementation of regulatory required changes or updates. You will focus on all our global benefits programs, our global benefits future strategy and the overall employee experience to ensure they are still fit for purpose and are aligned with the compliance requirements. Collaboration is key as you will work closely with all relevant stakeholders such as Finance, People Business partners and People Compliance. In this role, you will: Manage our compensation cycles Management of compensation & benefits projects, benchmark analyses, job gradings or job catalogs Analysis and further development of fixed and variable compensation systems Development and optimization of processes in the area of compensation and benefits Manage and negotiate with our benefits vendors Further develop our benefits strategy Design, implement and manage all compensation issues across the organisation, making sure that the packages are constantly in line with market expectations and competitive Work closely with leadership to maintain and manage our company ESOP scheme, driving one of the most competitive ESOP allocations in our market What you need to be successful: At least 4 years in a Rewards role, within a growing organization Experience developing a rewards mechanisms from scratch Experience managing compensation cycles. Management of company equity / ESOP plan Understanding of the Remuneration Regulatory environment Systems knowledge, understanding how to get the best out of the system, with particular focus on process efficiencies and data accuracy Workday experience an advantage but not essential Collaborative approach, supporting on projects, the business stakeholders with day to day data requirements and understanding the business functions Ability to work in a fast paced environment, but remaining agile to balance the needs of the wider people team and business priorities High attention to detail and accuracy with Excel / Google Sheets skills Ability to story tell through the use of data.
