About the roleHappy Scribe's AI is powerful and the accuracy levels of our automatic subtitles and transcriptions can go up to 90%. For those who won't have time to make those corrections themselves, we offer the option to pay a freelancer to finish the job. We have built a strong community of 400+ professional transcribers (or Scribes, as we call them) from all over the world, and are looking for someone to help support the Scribe operations and community together with our Community Support Specialist.
This is a part-time freelance role based in Barcelona.
What you'll doAs a Scribe community manager, you will support with general requests and administrative support (bank details, deadline extensions, feedback about the platform, etc.)
Coordinate scribes' onboarding: creating accounts for new linguists, sharing test files, sharing onboarding material.
Identify the most pressing community needs, grouping feedback and communicating back to the team.
Review, document and report system alerts that require the attention of the technical team.
Coordinate feedback about scribes' quality assessments and maintain transcription guidelines updated.
What you'll bringYou are fluent in English.
French, German, Spanish or any other language is a plus.
You are experienced in operations, community management, customer service or similar.
You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and you are highly empathetic and passionate about community.
You are comfortable and keep a positive attitude when facing high-pressure situations that require quick and efficient solutions.
You are highly organised. You have the ability to prioritise effectively and make difficult decisions if needed.
Experience working with large freelancer communities is an advantage but not a must.
