This is an exceptional chance to become part of a professional newsroom, where you'll have the opportunity to advance your career as a vital member of one of the most sought-after digital media teams.Your responsibilities will include:Bring your own unique ideas to improve and manage our international communities on social media.Provide high-quality and engaging text and visual content for our social media accounts.Drive audience growth and engagement across multiple social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) by scheduling content, writing copy, and monitoring content and channel performance.Stay current with social media trends and source content accordingly.Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies, maintaining the Secret Media Network editorial voice in headlines and copywriting across multiple verticals and platforms.Build and strengthen relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, and influencers. Always open to creating new digital deals and partnerships!Work with the Director of Social Media and Editorial Executives to schedule and promote editorial-sponsored content across all platforms.Complete timely qualitative and quantitative analysis/reporting to improve our proposals.About YouWe're seeking someone who:Has a native-level of Spanish and Catalan while English is also preferred.Extensive knowledge of Barcelona and Catalonia (its people, customs, peculiarities, sense of humor...).Has a deep passion for digital marketing.Has 2+ years of experience running social media accounts for a newsroom, agency, or brand or personal projects related to social media.Stays up-to-date with digital technology trends.Has a strong understanding of digital media trends, with a good feel for what makes content popular online.Can demonstrate the ability to adapt to the extremely fast-moving world of a digital startup business.Has experience with social media tools like Falcon, Canva, CapCut, Creators Studio, Storrito, Later, and similar. Experience with video editing is a plus.Has the ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs.Pays attention to detail, is a critical thinker, and a problem-solver.Feels comfortable appearing on camera and conducting voice-overs for our video content.
