About the RoleWe're looking for a communications associate to support our communications team in Spain. The role will be based in Madrid and will report into our Head of Communications for Southern Europe.What You'll DoWork to tell our story in creative, inspiring ways that resonate with journalists and the general public.Design and lead proactive corporate and product PR campaigns to help advance our business objectives for Uber and Uber Eats in SpainWork with beat reporters daily, juggling a combination of proactive and reactive communications efforts that protect and enhance our reputation.Manage resources for maximum impact, including working with agencies to amplify our communications strategy.Be a trusted partner to Spain executives.Basic QualificationsA fluent Spanish and English speakerA minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, PR and/or journalismDegree-level education.Preferred QualificationsA superb writer: We're looking for people who can distill complex ideas into simple but credible arguments.A self starter: Uber is a company of entrepreneurs and we want to work with people who enjoy building things from the bottom up. You'll be used to working calmly under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.A creative problem solver: You are able to analyse trends and identify creative ways to make Uber relevant.
