19 Dec | Fundació Per A La Universitat Oberta De Catalunya | Barcelona OpenEU, the alliance of European universities, brings together eight leading European open and distance universities and two face-to-face universities committed to the digital transformation, with the mission to establish the learner-centered, inclusive, digital and green European Open University, extending access to higher education and lifelong learning to everyone, everywhere.
With the support of the European Commission, in the framework of the European Universities Program of the Erasmus+ program, OpenEU will implement a 4-year project to establish the pillars of the first open university on a European scale.
At the UOC, coordinator of the OpenEU alliance, we are looking for a technical communication person to coordinate, plan and execute the different communication and participation actions derived from the OpenEU work plan at the University for the 4 years of the project.
We are looking for an OpenEU communications technician for the UOC's Communication Area and you will work closely with the coordinator of the partnership, the UOC's International Action Commissioner, the OpenEU coordination team at the UOC and the OpenEU decentralized communication and participation office, where there will be representation from the communication teams of all the beneficiary organizations.
The selected person will join the UOC and will be part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team with an important international projection, as their role will be to support the UOC's communication and participation teams.
What will be your functions?Plan, manage, execute, monitor and evaluate the actions derived from the OpenEU communication and dissemination plan at the UOC, in coordination with the OpenEU Secretariat and in collaboration with the other members of the European consortium.Follow up the costs associated with the assigned projects.Design and implement specific 360º communication campaigns, agreeing on specifics, calendar, formats, channels and other derivatives with the rest of the teams of the Communication Area and execute and follow up on them.Share with the communication coordination and planning bodies of the Communication Area the actions derived from the communication and dissemination plan of OpenEU and participate in these bodies.Coordinate the integration of the alliance's communication in the UOC's own channels, according to the University's needs.Define, implement and follow up the internal and external communication plan of OpenEU at the UOC.Elaborate audiovisual and multimedia materials: videos, podcasts, interactive, etc.
following the brand and corporate identity of the University.Draft and publish press releases, write copy for social networks and define and write other UOC content in the appropriate formats, in coordination with the different teams in the Communication Area.Dynamize the participation of the UOC community, collaborating with those responsible for relevant channels and audiences, and other institutions external to the alliance.Support the UOC's participation in OpenEU practice communities.Support the conceptualization, implementation and dynamization of community participation tools, such as Decidim or the Folio space.Support UOC members in the commissions and meetings of the alliance of work packages on communication and participation.Coordinate the organization and logistics of face-to-face and virtual events and carry out all the necessary tasks.It will be a full-time temporary employment contract linked to a project, until November 30, 2028, with immediate incorporation expected.
You will work in a dynamic and flexible environment where you will be able to develop professionally by working towards objectives.
The physical location will be 22@, located at Rambla del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona, and you will have the possibility of teleworking, depending on organizational needs and the nature of the tasks.
However, for legal reasons, it is essential to reside in Spain and to be in possession of a valid work permit.
