Job Description: A position as an Interiors and ECS Commodity Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join the Procurement department.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Be the entry point of the suppliers with the company. Implement the Procurement policy. Perform market analysis (global sourcing including offsets). Manage sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc…) & contract management. Establish, implement and improve commodity strategy. Contribute to monitoring & improving supplier performance: Identify & lead value creation projects and support product/service innovation. Sustain long term relationships with suppliers. Ensure risk management. SKILLS: Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline. Experience in Procurement or in Contract Negotiation. High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode. Be Agile. Highly motivated. Negotiation level in English. Advanced level in Spanish. German or French would be an asset.
