Valuing our people is what makes us one global team, with our colleagues' safety at the heart of our organization.How to contribute to our visionManage the Office & Factory Supplies (OFS) Category for the SE&A Region, as well as key Global projects for all OFS Commodities: Factory consumables, Tools, Personal Protection Equipment, Material Handling Equipment, Packaging, Chemicals and Office supplies.In this position, you will be part of a team that provides Indirect Material and Service Support to the Siemens Gamesa Business Units.
This position will report to the Global Category Manager.
The Ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment as well as operate independently.In this role you will:Define, communicate, and implement a regional commodity structure & sourcing strategyIdentify and manage procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage/exploit potential opportunities through tailored actionsLead regional tendering, contracting, and supplier activities, such as supplier selection, qualification, and developmentAnalyze and coordinate efforts to implement strategic initiatives/programs to drive savings, supply base optimization, cash flow improvement & e-AuctionsCoordinate and manage a virtual cross-functional team to achieve optimum conditions and savingsGenerate, document and implement savings, e.G.
CNI; plan, monitor and report on relevant KPI to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.Cooperate closely with internal customers (requesters) to ensure customer care and early involvementNegotiate frame contracts and define core supplier and service assortmentWhat you need to make a differenceA successful university degree in a technical and/or commercial areaApproximately 4 years of relevant working experience in Procurement with successful demonstration of key responsibilities & knowledge.Comprehensive experience in commodities such as Factory SuppliesExcellent communication skills for interacting with internal business and external collaboration partners/suppliers at senior management levelStrong analytical and planning skills; results driven personality; excellent and experienced negotiation skills in procurementProject Management Skills: must have the ability to self-manage workload, manage multiple projects in parallel, set target dates, meet deadlines, follow processes, deploy a commodity roadmap of projects and implement projects to achieve optimum results.Proficiency in English (C1) both orally and in writingFlexibility to travel approximately once or twice a month if needed (post pandemic)In return of your commitment we offer you…Become a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to comeA global team of diverse colleagues who share passion for renewable energyTrust and empowerment to make your own ideas realityPersonal and professional development to grow internally within our organizationFlexible working hours as well as home-officeAttractive remuneration packageLocal benefits such as subsided lunch, employee discounts and much moreEmpowering our peopleSeverely disabled applicants are encouraged to reach out to us.
