For our own projects, we are looking for: Commissioning Manager.
MISSION: Responsible for leading and overseeing the commissioning activities for chemical plant projects.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in chemical plants and be fluent in English and Spanish to effectively manage multicultural teams and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
TASKS: Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in alignment with project requirements and timelines.
Lead the commissioning team, ensuring all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions from construction to commissioning and handover phases.
Oversee the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of equipment, systems, and processes, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to address potential challenges during commissioning activities.
Ensure all commissioning documentation, including test procedures, checklists, and reports, are prepared, reviewed, and approved.
Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring their deliverables align with project specifications and schedules.
Conduct regular progress meetings, providing updates on commissioning milestones and addressing any issues.
Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE standards throughout the commissioning process.
Support the preparation and execution of training programs for operations and maintenance teams.
Prepare and present detailed commissioning progress reports to project leadership and clients.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
15 years of experience in commissioning management for chemical plants, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
Strong knowledge of chemical process systems and equipment.
Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to chemical plants.
Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in commissioning tools and software, as well as project management tools OTHER DETAILS: Job Location: Barcelona, Spain.
Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable).
