JOB DESCRIPTION: The Commercial Strategy Manager leads the design and implementation of commercial prioritisation frameworks for HBX Eco-system units as well as the discovery, planning, quantification and execution of specific strategic opportunities. The role works closely together with commercial and business unit leaders (e.g. Sales, Sourcing, Fintech, Mobility & Experiences, HotelTech-Roiback) and Sales & Sourcing Centers of Excellence to (i) align & implement key strategic priorities and (ii) drive key strategic projects. The role oversees that all commercial roadmaps adhere to consistent (high-quality) standards across the company, with the right level of granularity and fulfilling all the necessary requirements based on advanced quality frameworks (e.g. valid go-to-market strategy, solid commercial enablement plan, etc). The role also leads the design and execution of specific strategic projects leveraging TO Control and Project Excellence project management capabilities. The role is responsible for leading financial, risk and opportunity quantification analysis - elevating key outcomes to the Functional Lead. The role coordinates the performance and status reporting of all specific commercial strategy workstreams and strategic projects to be presented in the Transformation Office and other relevant leadership forums including the Executive Committee and Advisory Committee.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of commercial prioritization frameworks across Eco-system products, markets and segments by working together with commercial and business unit leaders.
Designs, implements and ensures adherence of Eco-system commercial strategies to quality frameworks by applying commercial planning methodologies and through stretched collaboration with business unit leaders.
Manages the consolidated roadmap for business unit commercial plans to ensure (i) alignment with strategic priorities and (ii) consistency & adherence to quality standards.
Leads the strategic discovery (assessment of the opportunity), planning, quantification (key topline drivers & cost/capex requirements) and execution of specific strategic opportunities by collaborating with functional leads and leveraging TO Control and Project Center of Excellence for optimal project planning and governance.
Develops the strategy, performance and status reporting of specific commercial strategy workstreams and strategic projects to be presented in leadership group meetings, Transformation Office, Executive Committee and Advisory Committee.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing commercial strategy and strategic projects at a global organization or in a Strategy Consulting firm.
Proven experience in commercial strategy frameworks and methodologies.
Experience managing and developing people in a multicultural and global organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related.
Master's degree or MBA highly preferable.
