We would like to join a Senior Commercial Project Manager. She/He will take all financial and commercial management responsibilities of international Mobility Contracts around the world. A Senior Commercial Project Manager (SCPM) is fully responsible for all commercial related matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, NCM, and ECC topics. SCPM ensures the compliance of applicable regulations during the offer and project execution phase. SCPM supports the Project Manager/Bid Manager in all other areas where a takeover of responsibilities is decided and/or a useful contribution.
What are my areas of responsibilities? Empowerment: Drives own empowerment with adequate signature authorization and project target agreement to manage the project.
Supports the PM/Bid Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g., project gross profit, cash flow, assets and financing instruments).
Acts together with PM as owner of the project.
Manage the project throughout the project Life Cycle: Actively manages all relevant commercial and financial topics in sales and/or execution phase.
Ensures an adequate handover phase, analyzes customer's requirements, examines their commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability.
Manages and supports the PE Management in identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies and response activities.
Ensures the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g., SAP - ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local Gaap requirements, international and local contracts.
Manage customer requirements: Actively communicates with customer's commercial representatives and manages solving of commercial/Finance issues.
Manages customer expectations together with PM.
Manage project finances: Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, including recording of such in appropriate ERP systems.
Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status/bid meetings and ensures the accuracy of the commercial project data (i.e., FC, MIKA, cash flow).
Actively performs asset management, initiates invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms and ensures proper payment allocation (onshore/offshore/consortium).
Ensures compliance with Siemens FRG and local GAAP requirements.
Ensures the application and the continuously managing of financial Guarantees, Bonds, and project securities.
Supports the PM/Bid Manager in identifying, minimizing non-conformance costs and optimizing costs.
What do I need to qualify for this role? At least 6 years' experience in financial project functions.
CPM and C Certified in Siemens is a plus.
Project management in international complex projects and finance experience is a must.
Siemens business processes, policies, and procedures knowledge.
Experience handling BA tools (e.g., Spiridon, Dash/Roccit, GREAT, EPIQ, PM@Siemens, etc.).
Multicultural team working experience.
Full professional proficiency in English (written and oral skills).
Former participant in Company talent programs is a plus.
Communication and coaching skills.
Perseverant yet open-minded, energetic, creative.
Ability to create structures.
