A Snapshot of Your Day
As Commercial Project Manager, you will play a key role in providing finance support and coordination to Grid Technologies Grid Solution organization. This role covers commercial activities such as:
Creation and management of projects/invoicing
Cost control and business analysis
Preparation of offers, calculation of prices, and review of contracts
You will have a strong interaction with other commercial project managers, technical project managers, and overall business support functions of different countries, being responsible for ensuring that commercial and contractual requirements of the projects are met, accounting rules are followed, payment plans, taxation, collections, financial forecasting, and risk management is enabled.
How You'll Make an Impact
Ensures all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities.
Supports the Commercial Project Manager Head and Project Manager in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks and opportunities, strategies, and response activities – taking on full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities.
Project Cost and Free Cash Flow Forecasting. Maintain good quality of forecasting accuracy.
Ensure accurate balance Sheet Accounting.
Facilitate prompt invoicing to the customer.
Actively manage accounts receivables and ensure collections arrive on time.
Actively supervise guarantees and ensure they are collected upon expiry for credit limit management.
Reporting and presentation of various business critical metrics as and when required.
Ensures the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems (SAP) – ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local GAAP requirements.
Drive digitalization.
Handle other Business Unit specific requests.

Good knowledge about SAP & MS Office
Knowledge in IFRS accounting standards
