As Commercial Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive revenue and profitability for the assigned category within the South Europe market (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and France).
Sales Analysis, Markdown Management, Inventory Management, and Space Planning are key tasks of the position.
Your Responsibilities At C&A As Commercial Planner for Southern Europe for one of our product divisions: Deciding and executing the markdowns in the system, within the given budget and timing, to ensure that presented merchandise is always up-to-date for our consumers.
Preparing SALE phases and giving guidance to selling operations on key-anker points for simple execution.
Identifying overstock/shortage situations and recommending corrective measures to the category counterpart so that reactive measures can be implemented.
Identifying risks and opportunities, collaborating with the category counterpart, to ensure the business is steered to reach the defined targets each season.
Conducting market research and trend analysis to understand current and future fashion trends and customer preferences.
OTB, SGM (Sales Generated Model) & Glidepath forecasting and demand planning: Using data and analytics to predict future demand and adjust inventory levels and supply chain operations accordingly.
Inventory management: Keeping track of stock levels and replenishing inventory as needed to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Analyzing sales data and key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and using this information to inform planning and decision-making.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, visual merchandising, and store operations, to ensure alignment and optimize resource allocation.
Controlling the capacity, density, and store stock levels within the assigned market to ensure C&A's reserve policy.
Developing and managing budgets and financial forecasts to ensure that commercial plans align with overall business goals and objectives.
What We Expect Of You Education: Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent (ADE, Economics, Organisational Engineering).
Optional: Master's degree in Fashion, Supply Chain, Business Administration Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a commercially-facing analytical role with ownership of at least two or more planning cycles, preferably in fashion retail.
Experience in merchandising (stock, sales analysis, sales budget control) and planner role.
Skills: Confidence in using both planning and forecasting tools to determine risks and opportunities.
Commercial thinker with great analytical skills and a critical mindset.
Experience in the Microsoft Suite and expert knowledge in Excel.
Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.
Possibility to travel occasionally to our sites in France, Brussels, and Germany.
