The OpportunityProvide, under the supervision of Legal Directors and in close cooperation with other Legal Counsels, legal support to their business partners, protecting and enforcing key rights, facilitating business transactions, providing continued preventative legal advice and defending Puig's interests in order to mitigate legal risks.
Develop a close partnership with its business partners, devoting time to understand their challenges and to educate them on legal implications and seeking an ongoing exchange of information with them.
Implement the policies and procedures defined within the Corporate Legal Services and support the definition of said policies and procedures.
What you'll get to do• Draft (and/or review) corporate resolutions and update related corporate secretariat database. Coordinate corporate requests with local law firms, when applicable, and oversee the process from beginning to end.
• Commercial contracts (distribution, leases, services, manufacturing, etc.) supporting all stages of their negotiation, execution (drafting, assist in negotiations, liaise with business units, update contractual database, etc.), as well as related conflicts, renewals and terminations.
We'd love to meet you if you have• Experience: 4-5 years of experience in both areas above mentioned, with a higher focus in corporate matters, at least some of them in reputed law firm or multinational company. Exposure to legal matters in other jurisdictions or to foreign clients will be valued.
• Education: Degree in Law.
• Languages: Spanish and English (at working level) is a must.
• Competencies: fast-learner, rigorous, pragmatic, exceptional organisational skills and multitasking capabilities.
