The Commercial Executive is a trusted advisor who leads the design and execution of the customer's commercial strategy and negotiation, selling the right commercial solution at the right time and ensuring every deal is compliant and profitable for Microsoft.
Responsibilities: Deal Making: Lead internal and external sales and management teams through commercial constructs optimizing for the right level of investment and customization.
Identify business opportunities based on deal lifecycle and artificial intelligence (AI).
Ensure successful deal execution.
Negotiation: Define and negotiate complex commercial terms and lead the strategy for negotiation by engaging with stakeholders.
Collaboration: Develop trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, partners, and Account Teams to help customers achieve their business goals and meet Microsoft revenue targets.
Deep Proactive Engagement: Support various sellers to achieve revenue targets, collaborate with business stakeholders, and provide advice on adjusting commercial licensing approaches to meet customer needs.
Renewals: Contribute to orchestrating deals that will process (book) and present offers to clients.
Develop understanding of sales science to help establish a strategic sales execution cadence.
Growth Opportunities: Work with account teams to identify growth opportunities and solutions, demonstrating knowledge of monetization of products and solutions.
