Your role Be part of FunPlus' global, multi-specialised team of legal counsel and professionals as you will partner across our organisation to provide legal solutions and consult and inform what we build and develop for our people, players and customers around the world. You will be part of our Global Legal Department with its main offices in Switzerland and Beijing. This role is based in Barcelona, Spain and reports to our Vice President & General Counsel, Western Markets at our global HQ in Switzerland. Your Responsibilities In close collaboration with your global legal team members you will partner with the FunPlus business teams in Barcelona and our other Western markets to manage, negotiate and execute a broad range of commercial and corporate agreements, compliance/legal/risk management related local and global matters and projects, however, primarily relating to our Western entities and markets and jurisdictions. Pro-actively manage the day-to-day legal operational, contractual, corporate, organisational and compliance needs of our games and the Barcelona entity, and, where applicable, provide support in respect of other Western entities. Your profile Excellent command of English and Mandarin (fluency). About 5-8 years' experience in a comparable commercial legal function, preferably in gaming, media or the tech industry. Working experience in a Chinese company. A Master's Law degree from a reputable university in Europe, UK or the US. Excellent service-oriented and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with people from a broad range of cultures, individuals and groups in a cross-functional context are a must. Ability to simplify complexity to actionable decisions and manage complex projects and negotiations, keeping all stakeholders informed and committed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in virtual and hybrid teams with colleagues and advisors in different time zones. Demonstrated ability to quickly research and evaluate novel legal issues, with a focus on practical solutions and an understanding of legal risks
