Commercial Compensation Manager

After the transaction closes, this position will be aligned to the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital (Divested Group).

About the job:
As an experienced Commercial Compensation Manager, you will be an integral partner in managing the day-to-day affairs of the Company's commission plans which include annual and new hire plan and quota distribution, monthly and quarterly commission attainment and earnings calculations and reporting, annual commercial commission plan design, plan exception administration, regular commissions accrual calculations, ad hoc sales performance reporting, and general interaction with Commercial and Commercial Leadership.
Responsibilities:
Process quarterly commission earnings/incentives in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage commercial commission tools (Xactly), and work with the team to install a new system.
Manage Plan and Quota distribution.
Keep system up to date with individual information: new hires, terminations, new quota/TI to support correct quarterly calculations.
Develop and maintain commercial commission calculators and statements for use by the commercial team throughout the quarterly commission earnings process.
Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity between systems and tools.
Assist in annual commercial commission plan development process and leading tool/systems setup.
Manage regular commission exceptions process.
Assist in regular commission performance reporting efforts.
Act as conduit for Plan and Earnings communication and queries with the commercial teams.
Prepare monthly commercial compensation accruals for Finance.
Prepare OTP file for Payroll purposes.
Process design and documentation required to perform the commission process.
Deliver tool end-user training and support.
Drive enhancements, standardization, and efficiency initiatives on the overall commission process.
Work with Leadership to design, approve and launch short-term SPIFFs and incentives as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field (Preferred).
Experience in commercial compensation, accounting or finance, with a focus on commercial incentive plans.
Experience working with large, disparate data sets.
Experience working with SalesForce.com and/or other enterprise-grade CRMs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytics skills.
Strong knowledge of business tools (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Keynote).
Knowledge of commercial incentive and commission systems (Preferred).
Mid-level SQL background.
