ITP Aero is looking for a SW CFD tool developer to further improve the capabilities of combustion aeroelastic simulations to be applied to the design/analysis of aeroengines combustors.
In this position you can: Develop insight knowledge on advanced numerical methods applied to simulations of combustion process and its instabilities.Develop high performance computing solutions to support the aeroelastic design of aeroengine combustion chambers.Integrate and optimize the tools for combustion aeroelastic simulation.Contribute to the definition of the strategy and integration of aeroelastic tools applied to combustors.Contribute to the design of advanced components for high efficiency aeroengines.What profile we are looking for? Academic degree: Master or PhD in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Materials…)Experience required:2+ years of experience in development and validation of algorithms for CFD numerical solutions.Proficient programming in C++ and parallelization techniques for HPC on CPUs and GPUs.Necessary Knowledge:Knowledge of turbomachinery.Knowledge of CFD tools.Language: Advanced English.Soft Skills:Passionate about computing simulation.Teamwork.Initiative and Independence.Motivation for problem solving.You will work at the ITP Aero headquarters located at Alcobendas (Madrid).
