The Combustion Applications Specialist will have overall responsibility for some of our key offerings in the Combustion segment and will ensure that a common commercial approach to selling these products/services is adopted across Europe.As Combustion Applications Specialist, you will:Be responsible for identifying new prospects, developing and presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, overseeing projects, and providing process expertise during start-ups, including applications and 3G product lines.Provide process expertise and technology differentiation to onsite bid teams looking to secure larger 3G supplies of oxygen/nitrogen/argon/hydrogen as well as liquid gases sales contracts.Manage existing partnerships and identify new opportunities for collaboration.Provide sales, marketing, and process input for new developments.Support and train country sales teams as needed.Represent AP at conferences, exhibitions, and seminars.You will have:Relevant degree (typically engineering-based).5 years of business area/marketing experience within Air Products or a related industry.Fluency in Spanish and English.Proven commercial and negotiation skills to provide the required level of direction and input to customers and other sales teams.Leadership skills necessary to provide commercial direction.Ability to communicate at all levels within the company.Able to handle and prioritize multiple demands and commitments.A sound grasp of cash flow analysis and related financial tools.What we offer and what you get in return:We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a culture of respect, challenge, and innovation – with excellent opportunities for growth and development.We care about work-life balance, so you will have the possibility to work from home 3 days a week.Bring your possible and grow with us as we embark on building tomorrow together by being the safest, most diverse, and most profitable industrial gas company in the world.At Air Products, we work in an environment where we put safety first, diversity is essential, inclusion is our culture, and each person knows they belong and matter.
