We are currently seeking a CO Manufacturer Quality Technician to join our Quality Department.
Mission / Purpose Ensures that the co-manufactured finished products are compliant with the value promises to the customer/consumer and GB Foods Quality requirements.
Role & Responsibilities:
Contributes to Co-manufacturers selection and evaluation.Ensures the production according to specifications at Co-manufacturers.Validates control and monitoring plan.Steers Co-manufactured products Food Safety & Quality continuous improvement programs (Co manufacturers audits, relevant quality KPI's).Validates the effectiveness of the traceability system.Manages the yearly overall Performance with procurement department.If needed, provides technical support and expertise in quality related problem solving, risk analysis, and crisis management.Key Indicators Co Manufacturers approval and ongoing quality management.Co manufactured products conformity.Performance continuous improvement.Knowledge & Experience Bachelor's degree in quality management, food science, engineering, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software (preferred).Skills & Attitudes Customer and consumer management.Analysis and risk management.Project & portfolio management.Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.Problem solving.Food Regulation.Market, customers & consumers understanding.Communication & negotiation.Ability to take decisions or make recommendations while assuming the associated risks.Stakeholders management.Work under pressure.May require travel.Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
