Technical Services Inc. (TSI) is adding a CNC Machinist to its team at their facility in Ames, IA.As a CNC Machinist with TSI, you will program, set up, and operate CNC mills (vertical horizontal) and CNC lathes utilizing skills and knowledge of machine speeds, feeds, and proper tool paths.This role offers competitive compensation and lucrative benefits and perks including a flexible schedule, voluntary overtime, employment stability, performance incentives, and more.Job Duties:Develop programs that allow Machines to run unattended while programming next jobAbility to work with and hold tolerances of ±.001Use measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirementsAbility to utilize One-of-a-kind Set up in a production type work environmentAbility to work independentlyJob Requirements:High school diploma/GED2+ year(s) of CNC or machine operating experience in a manufacturing environmentCNC lathe, HMC or VMC set-up experience is preferredKnowledge of Mastercam Software or other Cam software desiredAbility to stand/move around most of the workdayAbility to lift/move up to 30 lbsTSI is eager to welcome a new member to the team.
