Job DescriptionThe individual will contribute to various nanosatellite missions within the AIV (Assembly, Integration, and Verification) team of the company.This team is responsible for ensuring that spacecraft meet all specified requirements through integration and final verification, including necessary testing.The individual will plan and coordinate activities to be carried out by other members of the AIV team and will also be involved in the development and evolution of the predefined nanosatellite platforms at Alén Space.Position Tasks and ResponsibilitiesThe following tasks will be assigned:Defining the verification plan from the initial phase of each mission.Coordinating the development of AIV procedures and specifying AIV tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).Coordinating and monitoring manufacturing and validation activities.Leading environmental testing (thermal-vacuum, vibration, etc.)
and launch campaigns.Providing support for Product Assurance, including non-conformance management.Candidate Qualifications and SkillsA Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or another technical field is required.The following experience and skills are essential:Over 5 years of experience in AIV (Assembly, Integration, and Verification) roles.Knowledge of ECSS standards.Experience working in clean room and Electrostatic Protection Area (EPA) environments.Experience participating in environmental testing campaigns.Fluency in English.Desirable qualifications and skills:Previous experience with nanosatellite projects.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.Experience with complex subsystems such as ADCS and propulsion.Experience using tools and equipment for spacecraft component integration (GSE equipment).Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of thermal-vacuum or vibration test facilities.The selected individual must possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and effectively, and the ability to collaborate in a potentially international and culturally diverse team.Additionally, good analytical, organizational, and reporting skills are expected, along with a proactive approach to solving problems independently and a genuine interest in technological development.Notice: The selected individual must be eligible to work and live in the EU.About UsAbout Alén SpaceAlén Space is a New Space company focused on the development of missions based on Nanosatellites as well as products and services related to them.Our mission is to help our clients develop their business plan by designing, manufacturing, and operating satellites to execute the applications they need.While Alén Space is a new company, our team has been involved in several complete nanosatellite missions, from specification to delivery, over the last 15 years.Alén Space's technical team is composed of systems engineers, electronic engineers, AIV engineers, software and operations engineers, and project managers; with extensive experience on IOD, communication, commercial, and scientific missions, with private and public institutions such as the European Space Agency.Alén Space's value proposition resides in the flexibility and expertise of our team.
