The RoleLocation: Madrid
The Cluster Insights Analyst position creates actionable insights within the Cluster team and is the main contact point for all CRM-related work.
His role will deliver insights data and analysis across markets to meet stakeholders' insight requirements and in accordance with best practice standards and processes.
Imperial Brands is currently undergoing a strategic transformation to become a consumer-centric organisation and the new Global Insight function will be a crucial driving force behind this change, placing consumer preferences and demands at the centre of commercial decision-making in order to gain competitive advantage.
The objective of this role is to deliver actionable, commercially-sound recommendations to inform and influence business decision-making within the Cluster.
They will take responsibility for delivering insights related to key business processes.
To do this requires a deep understanding of the commercial, consumer, and regulatory realities within each market in the assigned cluster, and an expert knowledge of relevant insight techniques, to ensure recommendations are grounded in consumer fact.
Key AccountabilitiesSales & Trade Specialists are responsible for delivering insights to support business processes such as:
Performance reviews (progress vs plan, drivers of deviation vs plan).Trade insights including account prioritisation & segmentation, monitoring competitor activity, trade & sales initiative planning, within relevant reports or presentations, continuous or ad-hoc.Initiative evaluation including Digital, consumer, and trade.All Cluster Insight Analysts:
Collate and prioritise insight needs amongst your business stakeholder set, working with the Cluster Insight Analyst and Cluster Head of Insights to allocate resources effectively to deliver to priority needs, and identifying resourcing and capability requirements.Work with members of your Cluster insights team to translate business needs into robust insight requirements.Make best use of central, self-serve resources such as the global Insight Hub, best-practice toolkits, reporting templates etc., developing a sound understanding of how these work.For more complex or bespoke priority needs, draw on specialist knowledge and resources from central CMI, research, data and analytics teams by drafting business cases for their assistance.Main contact point for all CRM related work from implementation, test, support, training, improvements, maintenance, reporting, analysis and insights to all Global Duty Free & Export, Travel Retail and Rizla Community.Full responsibility for management of users and manage with all Global Duty Free & Export Regions tablet inventory and other assets.Provide regular progress reports of main CRM KPIs with insightful view for corrective actions and decision-taking.Responsibility for delivering consistently high-quality insight outputs, in accordance with centrally-set standards and within agreed delivery timescales / terms of the SLA.Skills & ExperienceFluent in English both spoken and written.University degree in Business or comparable education with experience in Data Analysis.Strong drive and commitment to achieve results.Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally with demonstrable experience of influencing at all levels.Ability to work autonomously, when provided with relevant methods, tools, and templates.Comfortable with working virtually and in person across different geographies, time zones and/or languages.Collaborative mindset, keen to play an active role in the Global Insight Community.DesirableDesirable experience in FMCG or tobacco.Cross-cultural understanding.Experience in delivering insights across different markets.Knowledge of BI tool, preferably PowerBI.
