Mission and Responsibilities: The cloud security engineer works closely with the other members of the Information Security team to develop and implement comprehensive information security programs.
Technical troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of common security standards and frameworks (NIST, CIS Security). Well versed in cloud technologies with knowledge of AWS. Understand the different security challenges across the entire technology stack, including infrastructure, networking, and application level. Operating AWS platform and its infrastructure providing technical expertise in various security domains (WAF, Firewalls, Instance & Containers Hardening, Identity, HSM, etc.). Support audit preparation activities, ensuring audit readiness, facilitating the delivery of information, and responding to audit observations for internal and external audits. Anticipate risks and issues of technical complexity. Experience in hardening, vulnerability, and patch management. Actively collaborate with other internal teams. What are we looking for in this position? Demonstrable technical knowledge and experience in Cloud & DevOps methodologies. Automation related technologies & programming languages (Cloudformation, Ansible, shell scripting, python, etc.). Operating & maintaining security appliances. Knowledge of SSO solutions with various identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC. Organized and disciplined working approach tailored to meeting tight deadlines while producing good quality work. Ability to work independently with external and internal stakeholders.
