Role Purpose: The Cloud Manager for Public Cloud is responsible for planning and designing technology solutions and mapping business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure alignment with the enterprise Architectural plan. This role involves globally designing and implementing Cloud solutions, ensuring efficient operation of various components, high availability, and compliance of the IT-Infrastructure, and interacting with external outsourcing providers.

Key Accountabilities: Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capabilities. Operate the above environment and ensure high availability. Deliver project work according to overall standards and concepts. Scout technology and run proof of concepts; propose new solutions, liaise with vendors, and define global IT infrastructure standards in storage, backup, and laboratory software. Resolve critical incidents and problems. Ensure disaster recovery and maintain security of systems against unauthorized access. Ensure that systems are implemented and documented in compliance with Lonza's standards. Ensure documentation and compliance of corresponding IT-Infrastructure. Manage the Cloud Operation team. Key Requirements: Professional with extensive experience in leading large-scale projects. Excellent leader with the ability to motivate multicultural resources to complete projects on time, even in a virtual setup. Structured, focused, and result-oriented with attention to detail. Mentally robust, retains overview, and navigates efficiently under pressure. Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Technical IT Infrastructure competency is a strong advantage. Experience within the Pharma industry and handling validated IT Infrastructure and environments is an advantage. At Lonza, we respect and protect our people and our environment.
