We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Engineer to join our IT Delivery team, focusing on hybrid cloud technologies with a strong background in Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading the design, implementation, and management of our hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of both on-premises and cloud-based systems.A snapshot of what you will be doing here:Design and Architecture:Develop and implement hybrid cloud strategies using Microsoft Azure and other hybrid cloud platformsArchitect and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud and on-premises solutionsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsImplementation and Management:Manage and maintain hybrid cloud environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilitiesImplement and manage IaaS, SaaS, PaaS solutions such as Azure Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Office 365Resolving complex technical issues in collaboration with our ServiceDesk teamDevelop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and troubleshooting guidesSecurity and Compliance:Ensure security best practices and compliance with industry standards and regulationsImplement, maintain and monitor security controlsOptimization and Performance Tuning:Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud and on-premises systemsImplement automation and orchestration solutions to streamline operationsConduct capacity planning and performance tuningWe are looking for an individual who:Education and Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in system engineering, with a focus on Microsoft related technologiesTechnical Skills:Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and related technologiesStrong understanding of networking principles, including VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurationsExperience with cloud virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and CitrixFamiliarity with DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines) and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates and Azure BicepCertifications:Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similarSoft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines together with external partnersWe think you will love working with us:You will work with a top international team, headquartered in Belgium.
