Scope: The Cloud and Hosting Services Manager will manage the physical and virtual infrastructure required to support cloud and hosting services, including servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and data centers. The role will lead the transition of Cloud Infrastructure and Operations management services to a Managed Service Partner, focusing on contract/vendor management and service delivery.The Manager will oversee the deployment of cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, databases, and other cloud-based applications. They will ensure the security of cloud and hosting environments by implementing security measures such as access controls, encryption, threat detection, and vulnerability management, ensuring optimal performance and maximizing availability for users and applications.They will be accountable for resource allocation in cloud environments, such as compute resources, storage, and bandwidth, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, as well as implementing governance policies and procedures for cloud and hosting services.
