Job Title: CLOAS Engineer Location: Remote from EEA Work Regime: Remote Overview / Summary: LUZA Group is looking for a Senior CLOAS Engineer to lead and advance our infrastructure, automation, and security initiatives. This role will be integral to designing, deploying, and managing our cloud infrastructure, Linux-based systems, and automation pipelines. Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture: Design, build, and maintain cloud-based systems, leveraging services like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Develop highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant architectures. Linux Systems Administration: Manage and optimize Linux-based servers and environments, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability for mission-critical applications. Automation & CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, implement, and maintain automation pipelines to enhance deployment speed and system efficiency. Utilize tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins for infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management. Open-source Solutions Integration: Integrate and manage open-source solutions to drive innovation and efficiency. Evaluate, test, and deploy open-source technologies relevant to the companys needs. Security & Compliance: Establish and enforce security standards and best practices across cloud, Linux, and open-source environments. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability scans, and remediation efforts. Mentorship & Team Leadership: Guide junior engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. Required Qualifications: Experience: 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, Linux systems administration, and automation. Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL). Hands-on expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Chef) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI). Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Security Knowledge: Knowledge of cloud and Linux security best practices, compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, SOC2, GDPR), and experience with security tools (e.g., IAM, firewall configurations, vulnerability scanners). Scripting & Coding: Advanced skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python) and experience with version control (Git). Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities in complex environments and a proactive approach to addressing system performance and reliability issues. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in cloud (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Engineer, Azure Administrator) or Linux (RHCE, LFCS). Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). Prior experience in leading infrastructure projects or initiatives.
