Role Description: The Clinical Trial Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the end-to-end process of clinical trials, ensuring the successful completion of data in various systems and hand-off sheets. They will also field direct queries from brokers or clients regarding their clinical trial programs and assist underwriters in completing the underwriting process for clinical trials.
The Clinical Trial Team Leader will act as a knowledge resource on clinical trials for underwriters, providing specific information on clinical trial issuance and liaising with regional leaders to ensure up-to-date network information. They will support underwriters by offering underwriting, regulatory, and compliance information, as well as advice on program structure.
One of the key responsibilities of the Clinical Trial Team Leader is to ensure that CHUBB's service standards are met and exceeded for multinational clinical trial programs. They will liaise with affiliates to ensure the timely issuance of documents and work closely with the Shared Service Centre to carry out administrative activities related to global programs. The Clinical Trial Team Leader will also coordinate with Credit Control to ensure payments are made according to the non-regular payment structure.
The CT team leader should continuously monitor KPIs, analyze data to identify trends, and establish remediation actions. They should drive the development of more efficient processes, working in conjunction with other departments to ensure efficient working practices and identify process improvements.
The CT Team Leader will be responsible for task allocation and will actively participate in the escalation of urgent tasks. They will provide coaching to the team and ensure the goals are understood and set in the HR tool. They should also help deliver change, communication, and training plans as required to achieve improvement benefits.
Finally, fostering team collaboration and enhancing team members' skills are vital. The individual should establish an environment that promotes Chubb values and builds high levels of motivation, morale, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities: To ensure the clinical trial programs are implemented to agreed service standards and corporate guidelines. Assist underwriters in the underwriting process and file maintenance. Prepare, maintain, and complete Trial Workbooks in accordance with department standards. Build and maintain relationships with underwriters, the Clinical Trial Global Network controller, clients, brokers, Chubb Offices, and other external parties. Adhere to CHUBB's ethical, service standards and quality. Guide and support the Shared Service Centre in CT's account handling activities. Provide support for ongoing projects that aim to improve the trial process. Assist the Global Services department with any multinational insurance tasks as needed. Complete any incidental work that falls outside of day-to-day requirements. Requirements: Advanced level of English (C1) is mandatory. Insurance Certification is mandatory. A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or insurance is desirable. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze complex situations, weigh various options, and make informed decisions that align with business objectives and strategies. Proven experience in effectively managing a team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment. Proficiency in German and French is considered an advantage. Experience in servicing multinational insurance programs is advantageous. Working experience in Casualty Insurance is advantageous. Prior experience in highly service-driven roles within the insurance industry, with excellent workload management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with the underwriting and reinsurance processes is advantageous.
