Your Responsibilities We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Specialist in Urology to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate professional with a deep understanding of the products and medical devices used in this field. The Clinical Specialist in Urology will play a key role in promoting and educating about the products, as well as providing technical support to medical professionals and the sales team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Product and Procedure Demonstration: The Clinical Specialist must have a deep understanding of the therapy area of their products; thus, they should confidently advise from a position of knowledge on both the products and procedures.
Interact with clinical staff during the pre-sales process to enhance the genuine credibility of the product.
Support and provide assistance to the sales network in the OPDs conducted at the client's premises.
Maintain detailed knowledge of the assigned products and procedures, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of their competitors.
Participate in coordinating the Marketing Plan and Action Plan alongside the Division's Product Managers.
Conduct market studies on Olympus products and their competitors.
Maintain continuous contact with the market and clients to retain customers and identify business opportunities.
Participate in the technical analysis of public tenders and description of the offerings.
Demonstration Equipment: Manage product inventory, including additions and removals, and oversee stock levels of the items under their responsibility in collaboration with the Purchasing department.
Oversee the procurement and maintenance of the demo equipment used by sales representatives for product demonstrations.
Maintain the Demo Hub products in optimal condition.
Training, Promotion, Relationship Building, and Representation: Attend conferences (scientific meetings) or any event aimed at promoting and showcasing the features of Olympus products.
Participate in sales division/business line meetings where their presence is required.
Deliver training courses on the product line and market trends to the sales network.
Be active on social media platforms.
Daily Activity Management and Reporting: Monitor and report daily activities using CRM tools to ensure the fulfillment of established objectives, tracking the activity of OPDs for their products in the assigned territory.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Health Sciences, Nursing, Biology, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification may be preferred.
Experience: Between 1-3 years of previous experience in a clinical role related to urology is highly desirable.
Languages: Strong command of written and spoken English.
Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools for activity tracking and reporting.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals and sales teams.
