Position:Clinical Sales Representative Málaga (Granada, Córdova, Jaén, con soporte en Murcia)
PURPOSE OF THE JOBThis is a sales position where the individual is responsible for servicing the current customer base, assuring consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territory by identifying opportunities in new accounts and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.
S/he will be responsible for effectively dealing with customer complaints and recommending consignment in accounts where necessary.
Case coverage: Manage logistics between the site and Abbott related to procedural support.
Identify and assist in the resolution of issues of procedures.
Maintain Registry data with the site.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESAchieve territory total product sales targets and associated individual product targets.Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory.Implement comprehensive sales plans to ensure increased market penetration and establish new accounts.Plan own territory or account approach and manage own resources.Prepare important tenders.Analyze sales statistics, prepare reports, and perform required administrative sales duties, e.g., filing expenses account reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans.Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer record keeping (CM), rolling forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses, etc., in line with divisional standards.Manage samples, demo devices, promotional and phone expense budgets as per your plan spreadsheet to ensure expenses budget is contained.Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by the Company's products where possible.Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies in respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, and expense reporting.Provide technical support to clinicians.Demonstrate procedural steps for all involved physician and staff at sites.Conduct in-service programs for not only the cath lab staff but for ICU personnel as well.Develop and implement field-based physician and staff training programs.Communicate physician feedback and personnel input from case observations.Manage the patient follow-up post stimulator implantation when required.Train Field Service Engineers, customers, and other colleagues when and as appropriate.Act as Company ambassador at all times, representing the Company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity as the prime contact with facilities, physicians, and patients.EDUCATION & COMPETENCIESKnowledge Skills: Relevant Product KnowledgeKnowledge in biological, medical, and physics science (electricity)Experience in attending cases in the Operating RoomFamiliarity with follow-up patientsCapable computer skills for Abbott field reporting data system and necessary correspondence and spreadsheets.Competencies: Teamwork/CollaborationAdaptabilityCustomer Focus – results-oriented, self-starterPlanning and Organizing – capable of juggling multiple projects and accustomed to tight deadlinesAbility to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environmentExcellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skillsQuality commitmentEducational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or appropriate tertiary qualification or Medical/Paramedical certification e.g., bioengineer, nursing or relevant industry experience.Preferably prior learning of professional selling skills.More than three years relevant and successful experience in a sales role in Medical Devices Industry Neuromodulation Business is a plus.English: High level.Willingness to travel extensively (>40% of the time).
